This is Bobby Rozzell, standing at the corner of Douglas and Main in Wichita, holding my laptop.
Bobby, who really deserves to be called Mr. Rozzell, is the brains behind douglasandmain.com. His website is like an online truck stop for all Wichita blogs.
So popular is Douglas and Main, that if your blog is featured, people say "You've been Douglas and Mained." Read a story about it here. Here's the photo shoot in progress:
Oddly, Mr. Rozzell has reclassified this blog under the "Art" category.
Artful drivel, perhaps.

My Excuse For Being A Bad Blogger
I'm remodeling my basement. Had a sewer pipe back up. A little bit of carpet got wet. Insurance company sent a big check. I decided to hang drywall.
Who says everything in life has to make sense? Of course, faithful readers of this blog recall that I updated regularly about the progress of last year's kitchen remodel. This job just isn't nearly as glamorous. I pulled up a bunch of carpet and it smelled like cat pee. I tore out some old drywall and found some mice skeletons. See what I mean?
I don't even pretend to cut off my finger in this video.

Last Voice
Was in Anadarko, Ok., last week to shoot a story on the last person alive who can speak the language of the Wichita Indians. Fascinating stuff.
